Why Am I Here?

That may be the biggest question any of us will ever ask ourselves.

Today, I'll start simpler:
Why am I here, writing in this blog?

The answer:
I'm on a journey. A path toward my own healing. I don't know exactly where I'll end up yet. I don't know all of the steps to get there. But I do know that part of my path is sharing with others.

Walk with me. Grow with me. Learn with me. Maybe my path can help guide your own journey.

We are not alone.

A year ago, I wanted to die. ...Well, no. Let me rephrase that. Because wanting is almost normal for me. A year ago, I made a sincere effort to cease existing. There were a lot of things happening. I could list them all out for you, and you'd feel bad and wish you'd known, but none of those things are the point. Even my lifelong depression isn't the point, really. I'm getting help, now.
